IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Bring your own water container, shoes suitable for wading, rain suit, clothes to protect you from sunburn, first aid kit.
Canoes are made for water flotation, do not overload them or drag them on the ground. When beaching a canoe, pull in parallel with the bank.
DO NOT HIT THE BANK NOSE FIRST. Always try to keep the canoe straight with the current in rough water.
YOU MUST PORTAGE AT ROCKY FORD. Do not take canoes or tubes through Rock Dam!
DO NOT SIT ON LIFE JACKETS OR USE PADDLE FOR PRY BAR.*A deposit may be asked for jackets and paddle. This will be refunded with the return of same undamaged.
